Margaret Hasie “BawBaw” Donahue, 97, of Inverness died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at her home. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Inverness Methodist Church in Inverness. Burial will follow in Southside Cemetery under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola.
Ms. Donahue was the daughter of Charles Leray and Lula Lanier Baldridge Hasie. She was a 1931 graduate of Glen Allan High School and attended Grenada College for 1 year and then completed nursing school at MS Delta Community College. She was a LPN at South Sunflower County Hospital and retired with twenty years of service. She was a member of Inverness Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earnest William Donahue in 1952; 2 daughters, Frances Wright and Patsy Foster; 3 sons, James Donahue, William Donahue, and Charles Donahue; and 3 grandchildren, Earnest Donahue, Scott Bradley, and Donna Bradley.
She is survived by her sons; Allen H. Donahue of Big Sandy, TX, Harold W. Donahue of Batesville, MS, and Raymond W. Donahue of Horn Lake, MS; brother, Pat W. Hasie of Hoffman, NC; 19 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
